Brigadier General Clara Adams-Ender, RETThe General Adams- Ender March was inspired by General Adams-Ender, who became the Commanding General of Fort Belvoir, Virginia, after her tour as Chief Nurse of the Army Nurse Corps. This March was performed at the retirement ceremony for General Clara Adams-Ender.

General Adams-Ender, now retired, has completed her book: "My Rise to the Stars." The inscription on the book she sent to Marge reads: "To Marge, Thank you so much for honoring me with the march composition. It was great to be 'set to music.' I wish you continued success and I am so proud of you.

Love and Peace,
General Adams-Ender
Brigadier General
Us Army, Retired."
